Terms of Service

WotsItLike is a location-based social web application designed to allow users to view, share, and discover real-time sentiment, atmosphere, and local updates at nearby venues using camera features, spatial location matching, and auto-expiring community posts.

• You must be at least 16 years of age to use WotsItLike.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and browser sessions.
• You agree to use the service in compliance with all local, state, national, and international laws.

When posting content, sentiment markers, photos, or text through WotsItLike, you agree NOT to:

• Post content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, abusive, or invasive of another person's privacy.
• Capture photos or video in private areas where there is a reasonable expectation of privacy (e.g., restrooms, private residential properties).
• Intentionally submit false or misleading location, venue, or sentiment data.
• Attempt to spoof, bypass, or manipulate spatial GPS checks, distance radii, or automated content decay timers.
• Use automated scripts, scrapers, or bots to harvest data or interact with spatial feeds.

• You retain ownership of any original content (text, sentiment ratings, media) you upload to WotsItLike.
• By submitting content to public spatial feeds, you grant WotsItLike a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, adapt, and distribute that content solely for operating, delivering, and improving the platform.
• Public sentiment markers and venue updates are ephemeral by design and will systematically expire or decay according to platform logic.

WotsItLike requires active device permissions (precise GPS location and camera access) to execute its core functions. Revoking these permissions will prevent key capabilities—such as real-time venue check-ins or live camera overlays—from functioning.

WotsItLike is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We do not guarantee:

• Complete precision or continuous accuracy of GPS venue matching or third-party spatial mapping data.
• The accuracy, truthfulness, or reliability of user-contributed venue sentiment or photo overlays.
• Uninterrupted or error-free service delivery.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, WotsItLike and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the service, including inaccurate venue matching, location drift, or interactions at third-party locations listed on the platform.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to WotsItLike at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or harms other users or third parties.

These Terms are governed by applicable local laws. We reserve the right to revise these Terms at any time. Continued use of the service following published updates constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
